A coach trip to Cardiff for Ukrainian refugees to visit the museum, Winter Wonderland, the Christmas market and see the Christmas lights proved a big success on Sunday 14th December.

Supported by Beacons for Ukraine in association with Hay Brecon and Talgarth Sanctuary for Refugees, Maryna who came with her three children summed up the day in these words.

‘If my children are happy, then so am I. Today they had the very best of days. As refugees we are so grateful to those who continue to support and care for us. It makes all the difference knowing you are there.’
