Successful first hybrid meeting in Talgarth Library

Since the start of the pandemic HBTSR has used Zoom for it’s monthly meetings but for the last year people had been asking to try meeting in person again.

Jan Shivel voluntary librarian at Talgarth Library obtained agreement that the library could host the meeting and she met with Ailsa to check that the wifi was up to the task.

On October 15th 15 people crowded around 3 ipads and 10 people joined from home on a Zoom call. The meeting in the library was lubricated and enhanced with proper coffee, tea and home made cakes.

A resounding success with greater numbers in attendance than we’ve had for a year…

Jan’s hat , a charity shop find, has spurred her to form her own party of ‘Make America Sparkle Again’

Peace poppies available from Talgarth Library.
