There  are strong links between our area and  Nepal. .The Gurkha regiment is based in Brecon.and Brecon is twinned  with Dhampus a village in Nepal where several of the Nepalese families living in Brecon Area have  close ties.

The New Gurkha Inn in Talgarth approached HBTSR to hold a joint fundraising evening on Saturday  18th January .All profits will be shared between  HBTSR and a fund to help pay for school uniform for some of the impoverished children living in Dhampus.

The  food will be good,  there will be the opportunity to see some traditional. Nepalese  dance and to participate in a quiz. Its a chance to get together and have some fun whilst raising money for two good causes.
