A trip to Tenby for Powys Ukrainian people

On Sunday 11th August, to celebrate Ukrainian Independence day later in the month, Henderson Hall in Talybont on Usk organised for refugees living locally, hosts and friends to spend a day in Tenby. Earlier in the week it had threatened to rain, but the sun came out and it was an absolutely glorious day. Lots of fun for children and adults with games, sandcastle building and swimming and splashing in the sea. Everyone went home tired – but glowing and happy! A big thank you to Powys County Council and PAVO for funding this trip through a Refugee Support Grant.
